#202 Christmas

June is hosting our challenge today, and the theme is Christmas. This is our last challenge for 2017.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, a gift, or gift bag or tag, as long as it's Christmas themed.

Please remember our 15 total challenge rule!

Please note this challenge runs until Friday December 22nd, instead of the usual Sunday finish. We will re-open in the new year on January 15th.

Happy Christmas everyone and Happy New Year!

Kim has provided a prize for this challenge, so one lucky person will receive this box of goodies.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Merry Christmas everyone!

Josephine

The background for this was done with acrylic paint on my Gelli Plate, then edged with Imagination Crafts bronze Alchemy wax. The baubles were die cut using, I think, dies from Joanna Sheen, and the sentiment using a die from Tonic.

Judy

I made this Christmas card for a friends little new born daughter's first Christmas. The image is by Mo's Digital pencil. The image is coloured with Copics, diamond glaze, and a glitter pen. I added stars, trees and a sentiment to finish the card.

Angela

Background paper was decorated with Jofy Christmas stamps and Stickles glitter glue added. The sentiment and main images are Elena Zinski stamps from Paper Artsy. Red gems complete the card. Happy crafty Christmas, Angela xXx

Glenda

I used a Penny Black stamp, various dies and punches, a doily and a Stampin Up embossing folder to make this fun Christmas card. Hope you have a Merry Christmas season!

Mary

I used a traditional decoupage sheet from Craft Creations Ltd called Snowman with bear and matted it onto brown mirri and green card, adding a ribbon to link the two colours together.

Margaret

My card was made with papers from Craft Smiths. The border die is the Floral Vine Deep Edge Punch by Martha Stewart and the chippies are by Scrapmatts. Under the flower cluster is a small doily cut with a Dienamics Die and the pine branch die is by Impression Obsession.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Jackie

My card was made using the waste from some card I used to cut out a large snowflake, and some ribbon from my stash. The background was made using distress inks and the stamped images were (I believe) Card-io. The sentiment was a stamp from my stash.

Kimx

My card was one of several I made using Magnolia background paper and poinsettias stamped and embossed onto vellum.

I have made this card with a LOTV Stamp, embossed it with Red Embossing Powder, ribbon and Pearls
