Challenge 64 Time

Hosted by Jackie
As this coming weekend sees the clocks going forward in the UK we thought we would inspire you with a time theme. Your card should reflect in some way the concept of Time - time passing, time spent, time waiting . . . You can use stamps, digi images, photographs, shop bought embellishments, embossing folders, background images, your own drawings or anything else you can think of.
********************
Please check the rules in the right-hand sidebar before entering. Thank You!

We are kindly sponsored for this challenge by The Stampman (and Lady of course!) who are offering the winner a £10 voucher for their store, you can spend this online, in the shop or if you're lucky enough to see them at a show!  They have a ton of items in store, enough to tickle any crafty taste bud.
We are also sponsored by
I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!
So without further ado onto the challenge and what the team have come up with this time
I hope everyone enjoys this challenge as it is the first time I have had to set one and choose a winner - I wish everyone all the very best of luck and look forward very much to seeing what you all come up with! My card has been made using a pearlescent cardstock card base, Couture Creations embossing folder (the clock), flitterglu and gilding flakes, a Marianne Createable diecut butterfly, and vintage photo distress ink.
I've used a Tim Holtz dry embossing folder for my blue back panel, a Kaiser Craft acrylic stamp for my black and white panel, and my main image is by Pink Paislee. My sentiment is from a Prima set--colored glittery gel pens for a pop of color and crackle accents on my main image face.

A Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder with added Perfect Pearls make up my background. The main image is my own, and computer generated, and the single clock image is a Craft Stamper freebie embossed in gold
I used for my card the "Sense of Time" Set from Stampin Up. The Bachground is from SU too - "Sanded".
I've needed a clock for my craft room for ages so what better thing to make than a clock. I used a clock kit, a cheap artist's palette and lots of other bits and it was lots of fun to make
I loved making this card, using a favourite Paper Artsy stamp and an embossing folder.
Hero Arts Timely Bird stamped onto Fimo heart and various spellbinders dies together with Basic Grey Kissing Booth Paper.
I took a completely different tack from everyone else here and used time as a play on words for my sentiment as it has a pub related theme, and at the end of the session the Landlord always calls 'time'. The background is a Cuttlebug clock parts embossing folder.
I went a bit different and made a wall hanging. I've used Paper Artsy Clocks Plate 5, The Artistic Stamper Time and Keys 1 and Spellbinders Sprightly Sprockets Dies.

I've used backing paper from Bearly Mine Designs with Core'dinations Cardstock. Tim Holtz "Pocket Watches" Embossing folder with lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.Lot's of Stickles & Perfect Pearls with some chain and beads from a broken necklace.
I cut the shapes using my Craft Robo, inked the edges, cut some letters which I inked too, and added a little card candi for the middle of the hands.
Time Waiting......This immediately made me think of Mother to be Tilda from Magnolia. I also used a Tim Holtz Clock die and embossing folder.
Annette

Timeless....Mini Pocket Album made out of  four Toilet Paper Rolls.Used various of design paper Stamped clock face image in black , then edged the paper with  Ink Pad for the old look ... More pics on my own blog …

Challenge 63 A Sketch

Hosted By Susie
Our challenge this time is a Sketch
You can create anything you like as long as it follows the sketch, so card, scrap LO, wall hanging, etc.
Please follow the sketch to qualify for the prizes and Top 5 positions. If we are unable to see the sketch you will not be eligible for either.
********************
Any creations entered which do not meet the criteria listed above will not be eligible for our fabulous prizes nor for one of our Top 5 spots. Please ensure your challenge meets the criteria if you don't want to miss out. We are seeing an increasing number of entrants who are either not reading our rules, or properly reading what we are challenging you to do and as we need to be fair to those people who do play by the rules we need to be strict with those who don't.
Please also remember we only accept entries from people who have entered NO MORE THAN FIFTEEN CHALLENGES, so 14 plus this one. In future those entrants not meeting the rules will be deleted.

Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair. Having these two complimenting styles have enabledDigi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.
It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations. We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.
Thank you so much for having us, and again the very best of luck to all of you.
Sincerely,
Judy and Joy
So without further ado onto the challenge and what the team have come up with this time
I've use an image from Dilly Bean's which is coloured with Copic pens along with my favourite Pink Petticoat papers this time. The roses are made using dies from Mariannes Creatables with some added beads of the centres. A little strip of ribbon and white gel pen for the faux stitching and a touch of Glossy Accents to bring out her eyes!
Beautiful image from Digi Doodle Shop and some Spellbinders die cuts with some Papermania papers and embellishments and I've got my first Easter card done!
I've used the same gorgeous image from Digi Doodle Shop as Josephine--Roses. I've used the Spellbinders Labels Nine die cut and paper pieced the image as I'm no good at colouring. :)
I have used the gorgeous Butterfly and Thistle image from Digi Doodle Shop, cut with a Spellbinder oval nestie so the butterfly is just outside the shape!!
I used the adorable Horse Kiss image from Digi Doodle Shop, adding tiny buttons, raffia and Basic Grey DP for my interpretation of Susie's sketch.
I've used the sweet Vintage Bike image from Digi Doodle Shop, Quite Contrary DP, ribbon & a few embellies to follow Susies sketch.
I love sketches and decided to use a Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD for my image and papers.
My image is a LOTV stamp which I have coloured with ProMarkers. I have used papers from Marianne Designs Full Colour Block and Dovecraft Back To Basics.Flowers are from WOC and sentiment from Craftwork Cards. Ribbon, gems and pearls are from my stash.
I used the Aquarium set from Digi Doodle Shop, coloured in using promarkers.  I used create and craft pastel blush cardstock and also used Nesties, gilding flakes, pearlidoodles and ribbon from my stash.  The good luck sentiment was an old stamp from my stash, embossed with moonglow embossing powder.
I have made this card using  Sheena Douglas's CD for papers and the flower topper.
With the exception of  the card base and the eyelets this card was made entirely from leather which I embossed and then distressed. For further details on how I made this please see my blog.
I used Little Sweeper Girl from our Sponsor Digi Doodle Shop and papers from Kaisercraft.
I used the little boy 'Games Over' from Digi Doodle Shop and the paper is from Magnolia.
I used the little girl " Field of Flower " from Digi Doodle Shop and design paper.
I created my card using 'Ballerina' from our sponsor Digi Doodle Shop, papers from First Edition and a greeting from Craftwork Cards.
I created my card using a saturated canary image teamed with papers by Authentic
I adore using sketches to make my cards and this was a fab Challenge for me! I used my First Edition Papers, my wee Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Promarkers, my fab rose die, ribbon and sentiment to create it!

If you would like to stop by their blogs I am sure they would be pleased to see your comments and if you want to know how something was done I am sure there will be more details on their own blogs.
